Is there anyone here waiting to hear from CHC New Delhi? They started processing my file on July 5th and have not heard anything since then. If there is someone in the same situation, please share your timelines with me. Thanks.

Amit they started processing my file on July 20th and they have asked for the passport on August 02, 2005. I got the letter from them on Aug24th and I sent the passport on 25th. Haven´t heard anything from them after that. I recommend that you fax them a letter requestingthe status of your application.

hi Amit and Sumit, its really goot to hear that waiting time is very very low for new delhi. But think about me... 3 months passed since my PR application is being processed in Sigapore, no communication or letter i have got?
Being an indian natinal, you are in good position with respect to many other applicant.

Amit should have ehard something by now as he is 15 days ahead of me. Usually, if they find that the case is strong and there is no need for an interview, they request passport within 2-3 weeks of processing date.
Send a fax with your client ID and address and probably a fax number if you have one. Keep it short and simple and just ask for the status of your application.
