How long r u here in this forum ?how old r u ?

sometimes I feel that you made yourself the adviser for all and say to people do this and don´t do this as if no body is right here but you .

hmmm, if you had stopped at the first part of your message maybe Sharon would reply.

I don´t get the feeling that Sharon made herself the adviser for ALL and say to people do this and don´t do this, and in the cases where she does reply and say do x and not y she supports it with evidence or logical reasoning.

If you know the process and know how most government branches operate one can use deductive reasoning to come up with a possible answer. Thank God Sharon is there as the voice of reason in the confusion that is CIC.

I totally agree with Katrina
Your post started out really nice...asking a few questions that I don´t think Sharon will answer but it was still OK to ask. THEN you go on to be rude.
When I first joined this board I saw many posts from Sharon and assumed she was moderator or something. After some time, I learned that she is just a regular woman who is going through this process like the rest of us. She gives intelligent answers and tries to help whenever she feels she can. She has never in any way said she was the ADVISOR.....no one made her the advisor...people like her and trust her to help.

She has never said she is always right and people are wrong. She is right most of the time and that is why we trust her.

If you start giving GREAT and INTELLIGENT advice, we will have a vote and maybe you will be made ADVISOR!

Good luck
Trust Sharon, she knows of what she speaks!

my experience is civic and provincial. Mostly civic. My job often involves advocacy and policy making - both require me to understand how governments write and think about things.

I also have gone through enough CIC red tape to be familiar with the front 75% of a skilled worker application. I have also researched for my own interest a spousal application.

99% of what I offer as advice is freely and easily available online if someone chooses to look. CIC is the best source and therefore I would assume it also to be accurate.

I have no desire to be an advisor, I do not want that responsibility. I am here so long because we have problems of our own with our application. I would prefer to be long gone.

Thanks (in reply to: work with governments and politics alot)
Thanks, Sharon, for your thoughtful posts. I guess this board is like any community, there are those who are thoughtful and greatful, and those who are angry and negative. It´s up to each of us to determine the validitiy of any comment.

You are right Tim. Although i am new at this forum but i observed in this hort span of time that Sharon has always been a help for every one here. She responds to all of our questions and provides valuable information. I wish we have more than one SHARON here but as of now ONE is doing a great job. May God Bless Her. Amen

thank you. there are lots of helpful posters around here. Kenny and Rachunek are a wealth of information. The trick is to find someone a little further down a similar road that you are on at the same embassy or from the same home country that knows the home conditions. Throw in a little common sense and some Canadian content and we have a great forum!
