Subject: Tim, Kool, Can I share your experience?
Congrates, Hope you will receive your pp request soon.

My situation is: Buffallo, skill appllicant with F1 visa in usa

App , July 04
Aor, Aug 04
IA , Sept 04
Med, April,05
Med,Doc , sent May 05
e-client , in process

My question is ,

1. Did you order CAIPS?
2. How can I know whether they receive my medical report or not?
( I have checked the mail tracking , medical dilivered May,17)

It has been 3 months and 12 days after my medical report was dilivered to CIC. What happened? What am I going to do next?
Do you have any ideas?

Thanks.

Get your caips to know if there is M01 in your status.
the best time to get caips is 2 months after medicals.

Issabella,

Thanks for your help. What is M01?

I may ask my friends in Canada request CAIPS for me .
My question is:

1. Should I mail the request or ask my friend to mail it?
2. How long can I get it?
3. Would you please explain how to do it if you have chance?

MO1 medicals are good.
1. Best is to mail in a request to caips.ca, no hassles, $30/-
2. 30-45 days
3. www.caips.ca gives you the procedure.

But I think it possible to order it for 5$, at least we did it 3 times already:

I had a bad experience ordering by myself, it took 70 days.

My experience (in reply to: Tim, Kool, Can I share your experience?)
Rocky: The only way I tracked receipt of the medical information was that the doctor gave me the FedEx tracking number. It arrived in Ottawa on June 22, 2005. When I sent my final documents (which arrived in Buffalo on June 29, 2005) I marked the outside of the envelope "contains documents necessary to complete file, please expedite." I have not ordered CAIPS notes or taken any other steps.

I have no insight to offer you, other than that the workings of CIC are a mystery. I share your frustration about their lack of communication and the difficulty in planning your life while you are waiting. Hopefully, if I make it to Canada I can work with the system so that it pays more respect to the position of the skilled immigrants they are inviting to their country.
