I am applying as a sponsored family member.
I got a phone call from the Embassy requesting my Passport for final processing.
I sent it the 10th of August and I haven?t heard anything yet.
When CIC asks for your Passport means that the PR has been approved? or could be something else?
Just worried about it.
I will appreciate your point of view.

Sponsorship approved Jan 3rd 2005
PR application forwared to Guatemala Jan 15th 2005
Started processing my PR app on Feb 4th 2005
CIC asked for couple documents March 16th 2005
Aug 9th 2005 got a call from CIC asking for my Passport.
Still waiting for Passport to come back.
I am a Costa Rican citizen living in Costa Rica.
