Hi Guyz,
Recently my friend has introduced me to this forum and its really amazing me to c people helping each other irrespective of nationality.....Thats really nice of you Guyz....lets keep this good work goin........
I have a query, hope you guyz help me tooooo...
I have recently got a letter advising me to go for medicals from Buffallo....and im prepared to go, however i have an injury on hand made with knife of abt 4 inches, caused by an insane person....as i dont have any insurance i had´nt been to hospital, ´coz it costs a fortune.....
well.....if i go to medicals now, i guess the doctor for sure gonna notice this injury and may pose me questions........what worries me most, is this a matter of serious concern or will it be a negative point on my medical report???
and also how long will it take at Ottawa for reviewing my medicals...
My time line is
July 2004 AOR
March 2005 IA
May 2005 Medicals
Please advise me....

I think its not gonna make any problem. Doctor will ask you for sure if any surgery is done or not and you will have to answer the question. If you dont want to disclose the cause of injury, thats not a big deal as well, as long as there is no criminal activity related to that injury. I mean if it was really an accident and you dont want to get into further details about that cause you may tell the doctor that it was an accident. I am sure this is not gonna pose a problem AS LONG AS IT IS THERE IS NO CRIMINAL ACTIVITY INVOLVED IN THIS AND THERE IS NO POLICE RECORD.

I think their real focus is do you have any health conditions that will be a burden on the system. I would avoid any fishy stories about the injury--the doctor might conclude it was self-inflicted and you are really a nut.
Just tell the truth. I can´t see how a cut would be a burden on the Canadian health care system.
