I heard on radio, 1/4 of refined ability in U.S was destroyed by hurricane Katrina, which is total gas produce in Canada.
Gas is 129.9/L yesterday, god damn it.
Decide that I can´t drive anymore, just simply can´t afford to, and Nanaimo transit is sux!
Today I skateboard to work, a little bid sweat, my manager told me don´t do this next time, because it may appear not professionally. (in her eyes, I am usually not professional, because I always talk jokes to visitors here, there always huge laughing when I am here, you know what? This is not a place which people are inspecting weapons of massive destruction, why need serious?) I told my manager that I couldn??t afford to fill my car, unless she pays me gas. In my mind, I don??t give a damn, why don??t you just shut up and stop bitching to me.
Another thing I wanna say, work in Canada is pretty freedom, I listen to the radio when I am working, I dress jeans and t-shirt to work. My manager and I always have argument all the time, we even argue NDP and Liberal in provincial election, also like custom service stuff, I am the frontline person, we have a lot of difference and the way how I treat people. I know usually Asian tend to be more silence in workplace or don??t really wanna express their own feeling, I am quite different.
Well, at least you work in Canada, you won??t get fire because you are listening to FM radio or skateboard to work, not even argue with your boss, right?
Also my manager knows I use internet, same as her, well, we think it will inspire your creation in office and customer service, we suppose to know everything in B.C.
Anyway, I never get shit from boss because I use forum. You know what? We have visitors coming from States, asked for the best escorts phone number in town, he is business traveler and willing to pay 2k U.S/day just go traveling with him in Vancouver Island.

departure bay is a senior member of the forum and can bring whatever he wants to bring up. Immigration and waiting is about life, and brings laugh to us anxious waiting in line applicants.

Anyway, if you want to complaign gas prices in Canada, try the 1,45 ? / L we have over here, where I´m from. Do the math yoursrlf, but it´s about 2,20 CAD/L .

I´m Belgian , and yes , to fill up an average car it will cost you at least 100 to 150 CAD.

On top of that we have a 21% sales taxes, marginal income taxes of about 55 to 60 % and very high property taxes....why do you think I want to move out of here ...:)

I just tanked my Honda. $55. ouch. $1.16 a litre. still cheap. That is 2 hours wages to drive for me to drive about 10 days. My guy...pays about the same, only he works 3 days to buy $55 in gas.
DB... I am going to have to come to Nanaimo just to visit you at your job. You are definitely not a typical Asian and I am sure you drive you boss crazy. But you are still there so I guess deep down... she loves ya!

hey, I gotta be causal and I won´t be in Visitor centre after long weekend. I will move to call centre service for "Hello B.C", and other time I will do some research.

I think gas should not charge GST on the top, because gas price already includes road tax in it, there is no meaning for tax charge to tax.
Just like you don´t pay PST base on price of the goods plus GST.
Sharon, if you and your fiance gotta visit Nanaimo, please email me advance, you can use my car, forget to tell you that I gotta relocate my position after long weekend.
