| Subject: When to inform CIC abt change in address |

Hello people,
CIC states on the website that one shud update information like change in address, telephone numbers etc. My problem is that I stay in a rented appt. and normally have to shift within a year or so. Since I applied for my PR, I have already shifted once and my current lease expires in about 5-6 months. Till date I have only received the AOR. So I presume by the time they pick up my file, I wud have shifted thrice... Now how often shud I inform - each time or shud I inform them when they ask for more info (during IA etc.) I have applied thru a consultant so CIC wud be corresponding only with him so is my address important at this stage ?
I look forward to your inputs.... Please help me with this one.

I guess you can change addresses as oftenas you like. this should not be a problem because we pay them for their service. In the US since mail will be forwarded to new address for one year you could wait if you wish to.
