hi Issabella, you had explained that BFD is in October, does it mean that the Background, criminal, security checks will, 100%, be completed by this date? Is this date selected randomly?
Could you plz post your timeline again?
I am gonna fax or email Buffalo asking for status of my application and BFD date particularly, will that be fine?
Thanks in advance, it´s always nice to see your response which is answered in steps.

(in reply to: Attn. Issabella) If I am correct this is your second CAIPS, what was the BFD in first CAIPS?

(in reply to: Attn. Issabella) BFD´s are an internal mechinism to insure no file gets left unattended. You cannot be assured that all your processes will be complete by your BF date, but you can be certain that the file will be looked at the very least by your BF date.

(in reply to: Attn. Issabella) Sharon is correct, BFD does not affect processing of file at all. I dont know how these dates are selected, maybe radomly or maybe with a purpose. My time line : File no. July 2004, IA Late Feb 05, DMP medicals Mid March 2005. Previous Caips showed 2 BFDs: 3/2006 and 11/2006!!! Latest Caips showed BFD 10/2005.
