| Subject: FBI clearance question |

I am currently living in Canada on a work permit and am going through the process of applying for permanent status. I am married to a Canadian and she will be sponsoring me. I need to send my fingerprints to the FBI in the US and from what I´ve read, they need to be on an official FBI fingerprint card. I have one of those, but the RCMP will only do fingerprinting on their card. Will the FBI accept that and give me the clearance or will they end up sending them back to me causing me to waste up to 2 months. Would attaching the RCMPs fingerprint card to the FBI one work? My work permit expires on April 7, 2005 which gives me exactly 6 months from now. Any help?? Thanks!
