| Subject: CIC is showing in progress |
Hi all
I filed my PR application in august 2005, CIC is showing that file is in process??? does that mean a file number has been issued to me? if so is there a way i can know my file number????
please advise.

"In Process". As far as i know this is what e-client says and you cannot access e-client without filling in your file no. So where did you get this "In Process" status. Aug 2005 have some patience you will get AOR may be next month.

I am on work permit in canada, so i have been issued a client id number. in CIC either u can make search on client id number or file number. I made search with the client id number nad it shows in process(we started processing your application on 31 august). I am surprised coz its only 2 weeks i filed my case.
