Isn´t amazing that Canadian government managed to organize such enormous relief efforts before the US did? And that they had 3 ships staffed, packed, and ready to go days before the US accepted their help? For that matter, the US government didn´t accept their help, so the Canadian government decided to go straight to the source of need (Louisiana) so they could send the ships down with blessings. Absolutely our thoughts and prayers ought to be with the victims, but at some point someone needs to be held responsible for this debacle. And more than a week later, the so-called president hasn´t said a word. Enough said. Except...Thank you Canada for your help and unbridled humanitarianism.
