Looking for ppl who are in the same boat for advice:
I´m a US citizen, trying to get a temp. worker´s permit. My fiance is Canadian, and we don´t want to apply through the Skilled Workers Class only because we´ll probably be married within 6 months....and fomr what I´ve heard, that takes forever. At the same time, we don´t want to race to the altar just so he can sponsor me. Anyone out there that can share their experiences, or give some tips?

Not many people on this forum talk about temp. permits. Have you gone through the process? What was your timeline like? What problems did you run into that maybe I can avoid? Any companies that have been known to sponsor for temp.work permit.......etc...questions like that!
