Subject: Re-entry from other countries with Work Permit |

Folks,
I am wondering if one can re-enter canada with a valid work permit from countries other than the US and visitor visa exempt countries. Does the work permit serve as travel and re-entry or one has to get a visitor´s visa to re-enter from the country that normally needs visitor visa to enter canada. If that´s the case, can one renew both the work permit and the visitor visa as an in-canada applicant or should it be obtained from outside. Please help.

(in reply to: Re-entry from other countries with Work Permit) there is one sentence on the work permit"
does not authorize re-enter"
didn´t you see that?

Re-entry from other countries with Work Permit (in reply to: Re-entry from other countries with Work Permit) Thanks,
In addition to the paper paermit they give separately, I also have the Worker category VISA stamp on the passport with the same valid date and multiple entry. Are the VISA and the paper permit enough for re-entry or one still needs a tourist visa if returning from those countries which normally need the tourist visa. I am just confused when I was reading the instructions.
Thanks

(in reply to: Re-entry from other countries with Work Permit) If your work permit allows re-entry (i.e, it is a multiple entry permit), you´re OK.
