I won the immigration appeal in july and i just checked my eclient status and it has changed to "In Process" from "Decision Made"
Any idea how long would it take from here. What to expect are they going to give me a new file number or something...
Any information is appreciated please if someone out there who has gone through this or going through please share the time line and information....

First of all, congrats on winning the appeal. What happens now is the place that did your appeal (ie. Toronto) will send back the applicatioin to the embassy/High Commission that is responsible for your area. I am not sure how long that takes. In my case, I won my appeal at the end of November. I didn´t hear anything from the office about my application so I contacted them in January. They told me that my application had not been sent back yet from Toronto. So I contacted the appeal division board and they did a search as to where the application was. Two weeks later, I received a fax from the embassy that was processing my application.
Before I left the appeal, the lady from the IAD told me that within two weeks, my application would be complete. As you can see by the timeline above, it was more like two months. I believe they will not give you a new file number but have just reopened the file you had. That is what happened in our case. Now they will continue processing your case like normal. I dont know the reason for your appeal but in our case it was because of inadmissibility. I won the appeal base on compassionate grounds so therefore it could not be rejected again. We had to update a few forms and send in new photos plus doing the medicals over again. Since your file has changed to "in process", that is a good sign as I would say the application has been returned and reopened. That is just a guess but things seem to be going ok for you.
