Greetings ! I am new in this forum. I am a Canadian national and I am thinking of sponsoring my Filipina girlfriend as a conjugal partner to bring her here in Canada. We have known each other for a year now and I have already meet her and her entire family last February 2005. On the other hand, I am also thinking of going back to the philippines come january 2006 to marry her. I do not know the process and do not know what to do with it. Whats the best thing to do? Which do you think would have a faster result, sponsor her as a wife or conjugal partner? I hope you can help me.

Don´t waste your time and money on a conjugal application. Unless you can provide a VERY good reason as to why you can´t get married, you´ll likely be refused.
Get married first!

hi my name is dennis and i recently just undergoing through sponsoring my cousin via conjugal sposorship because my lawyer said that we can´t get married anywhere because it is illegal by law in the philippines to marry your own cousin therefore the governmant there won´t release her VIsa.. me and my cousin have been deeply mutual and have came a long way back since we were kids but the actual relationship had been going on for a year now. we have all the evidences and they are all credible and genuine..but i´m just worried if about the chances and factors that might occur and worst if it gets rejected. please help me.. thanks for your kind consideration
ps. is there anywhere else i could get my "option printout" like an office?

hi. i don´t think only in your country (was in Philippines) that incestous partnership is not allowed.
it is a universal law that prohibits incestous partnership.

Iam a permanent residence of canada, my gf and i is been in a relationship for 18 months now, I would like to sponsor her, the thing is shes married in the philippines. but shes been seperated in her husband now for 9 yrs, their not even have a communication, she works now in thailand for 9 yrs as well. we have the proof that our relationship is genuine, in terms of communication. exhange of letters. picture etc. we also both have insurance and which specify that I was her beneficiary and she is my beneficiary. I just went to thailand and visit her, and we also both went to the philippines to visit and able to meet both our families. Is it possible to apply her as my conjugal partner. If it is so, what else we have to do to qualify for this application. thx

Hi, i´m a filipina and my bf is canadian. Were going steady for year this dec. He´s planning his vacation here and planning to get married and wanting me to be with him in canada...just wanna ask if its possible that in short span of time he´ll be able to accomplish things or papers that be needing in the canada government. He said he´s processing all the details and a lot of paper works. He said he went straight to canada government to ask some details for him to get me here. we´ll i´m confident about it and i trust him with this things but i still want to help him and i just wanna be busy with it. I need info on addition to this. Pls help me.

he cannot begin any sponsorship process until after you are married. after that, it will take several months to process. make sure if you have been married before you have all the appropriate divorce documents that are applicable to your home country. He should apply ´Outland´ - he will know what that means if he has been doing his research.
there is no fast way to go about this. make sure you have records of phone calls, visits, plane tickets, letters from family etc. You will be required to prove your relationship is real - a marriage certificate means very little to Canadian immigration.
