Subject: priority of immigration visa |
hi to every one there in the fourm
my querry is regarding this;is there any priority given to the doctors working in govt hospital as a medical officer. i m MBBS from india. if i am applying through new delhi cic office how long i have to wait for my immigrant visa to canada?

Hi Ajeet,
The current processing times for applications in India are around 4-5 years. If u r really lucky then 3 years!! I don´t think doctors get a priority but still if you want to check visit the canadian immigration site www.cic.gc.ca

I heard that it takes 1.5 to 2 yrs. 3 sounds a bit "harsh". do you have the statistics.

The average processing time for the Skilled worker category from New Delhi, India is 43 to 57 months.
