I have completed my application under skilled worker except one thing.
The additional family information is to be filled by both applicant and spouse. In case of spouse, whose name needs to be put in the first and second rows for "applicant" and "spouse" respectively?
If my wife is filling that form, does sheneed to put her name as applicant or my name?
Please advise as this is the only place I´m stuck right now.

Each of you (i.e., both you and your spouse) complete your own IMM 5406, during which, each of you is the "applicant" and the other the "spouse" for your respective copies.

who ever has a chance to score more points should be the first applicant.
Ref the NOC list to check which one of you scores more points and other factors.
If both are equal - put her name first.. maybe brings lady luck to your case!!

It´s not what I asked.
I AM the principal applicant. The issue here is that the additional family information form has to be filled by principal applicant as well as the spouse. This form has a column named Applicant and one named spouse.
My question was : When my wife fills that form, Is she the "applicant" for that form and I´m the "spouse"

Dennis gave the right information. On your wife´s form she is the applicant and you are the spouse.
Basically they want the information of your wife´s family as she may sponsor them after becoming a PR of Canada.
