At an interview, do you kind of get your yes or no answer or hint there for a spousal outside Canada sponsorship?

It really depends on the officer, as well as the application/applicant. In most cases, there is no explicit hint or suggestion as to the impending decision, but subtle clues may be made available. For example, if the officer peppers the applicant with questions concerning the validity of the relationship, and the applicant´s answers are poorly-received by the officer (i.e., his or her body language indicates continued disbelief/scepticism), one can infer that a negative decision may be forthcoming... However, in all cases, I strongly recommend that you remain calm, polite, and, above all, honest, throughout the interview. Every officer has his or her interview tactics, and one should never conclude anything until it is written on CIC letterhead!

Good luck.

After the interview is over you can ask the officer if you passed or not.
