We started processing DHRUV KOCHHAR´s application on June 14, 2005.
DHRUV KOCHHAR´s interview is August 23, 2005.
After this interview bleady status doesnt change/???????
THere are people on this site ....who reply back but?nothing certain...I mean
I requested the guy at the interview..that I have to fly back as I came from Canada...for this interview and I have the valid permit to fly back...but he asked me to wait for 2-3 weekkkss?
I sent fax after 4 weeks no reply?
wht shd i do?
no updates so far?

Well all I am trying to say is ...that How long does it take for them to send me back the passport which they took at the time of interview?
And yeah this is a spousal case...any other thing u wanna know?

Ok here it is...
They called me for an interview...They took my passport and those are the details which are there on their site...where u guys check the status online...but those details havent changed for last month and they said they will mail me back the passport in 2-3 weeks....but no replies or anything yet...I did send them a fax...doesnt help as I didnt get any reply?
more over....how long IT CAN TAKE? if anyone can give me that answer or any ideas?????

Just curious... did the consul take your passport during the interview... and then asked you to wait for 2 weeks before you get the passport.
What is your application post? Could you get back to Canada or still in another country?
As for as I know the updates depends on the visa post. Some of the consulates really take a lot of time before they can update the status on the system. Also I have seem in lot of cases that there have been cases where the person got the PR and still the system shows that the application is still in process... I would not really trust the system. But I guess if the system has changed in last 2 months then it may be different. My info is about 2 months old.

In New Delhi...after finishing my interview they asked me for my passport at tht time I said well if its going to take more then 3 weeks then pls let me know as then I will come back again to India....from Canada but he said it should not take more then 2-3 weeks and u will get ur passport back but again its been almost 3 weeks...
I had my 5 semester of studies there but they dont care...
They dont understand....the importance of time....Well I think there should be priority....I mean if someone is in india and does nothing.....and someone came from CAnada who is studying there and they know if they dont give it back, their studies will suffer...they dont care? at all
anyways yeah they took my passport during the interview?

If they took your passport, that means they must be in a process of sending it back. Unfortunately, none of us can tell you exact date.
I have read that Delhi cases get passport in 3-4 weeks. So I donot know how they told you 2-3 weeks.
You should have stressed the fact about your studies. Fax them again with this point stressed.

Well Starwars...thanks man....but the thing is I am scared again to fax them as people here say diff stories...not to do that ...as they might think wrong and may keep the case in pending status...
m just so stressed
even if they say that 3-4 weeks...bro it´s already see I submitted it on 23rd August..and today is 22nd Sept...
By the way u guys regularly chk this site?

Well for one your case is already cleared and since they have the passport they cannot keep it indefinately. So there is no reason to get anyone angry.
You have a geniune reason - if you donot leave now perphaps you will loose a semester.
I´m an applicant myself and do check what is new on this site almost daily.
No most of us are normal people "yes-normal individuals" who have filed cases on our own and help each other out.
Hope you have a resolution to the case soon - I´d say send them details of when you sent the passport and how and explain that you will loose a semester if it is not sent ASAP.

It is best to check is out as we have read on this forum that most cases in SE Asia are being deferred to Jan 2006 as quotas have been filled.
