Subject: HELP!
Being sponsored by wife, got denied 2 times for visitors visa in November and December 2004 to go a see my girlfirend then. On those tries i put thta i was still at university in final year and was expetced to finihs in May 2005. Thing is i was not enrolled but i completed till 3rd year. Got Dean to write i was enrolled at university, she believed cause i was a full time student and was always there. Now i am being sponsored by wife. IN formal ed section, i cant put comleted degree or say 4 years cause i did not complete. I want to know if CIC would say anything about me saying i was in 4th year at univerisyt when i submitted those visitor visas and now when i put 3 years on sponsrship form formal education section. Do they check back those visiotr visa records and do they record any inof such a letter form dean?? Would it have any impact on the most important application ever??

So you were going finish in May 2005, lets say you were enrolled in enough courses to complete your degree and did not complete the classes because you were stressed. You would still be enrolled in full-time school with expected completion date as 2005, but you had to extend it to because you don´t have the required credits to graduate.

Therefore, on form IMM008 Q10 you would put the year you started to the year now and in the number of years successfully completed you would put 3 rather than 4 years and include an explanation, still have x number of credit to complete approx. 1 year to complete degree. For type of degree grant, but pursuing XXXXX degree.

That´s my two cents, hopes it helps.

On the cic website under manual and procedures there is a document that tells you what information CIC keeps. I believe they keep some information in their database but the original is destroyed, you can search on CIC website for the info.

I was surprise to read there that CIC keep some forms for 100yrs, but I don´t believe visitor´s visa application is one of those forms.
