Good Stuff.
Just to re-enforce the above, I called INS at the Lewiston border and he confirmed this information. After this weekend I will be able to tell you from experience if this works for someone who is landing in Canada and returning to US in student status but with an expired visa using Automatic Revalidation.
Thanks Starwars, before your original post on this a week or so ago, we were looking at a significantly more complex and expensive landing for my wife.
