| Subject: US customs and immig |
when we are crossing the US border and going to Canada,Can we meet USimmig and customs officals and then proceed to Canada.OR we never get a chance to see the US immg on our way to Canada.
Please advise.

If you land in U.S soil , even if you are going some where else , you MUST declare U.S Customs and Immigration at your first U.S port of entry.
Even if is only transit.
Countries where a visa is requeried , must have a valid B1/B2 visa or a valid C-1 visa (for transit)in order to transit the U.S.
