| Subject: Maiden Name VS Married Name Changing?? |

I´m marrying my Canadian fiance in the USA then coming back to Canada. Question is this...
Do we send in the application packet for PR under her new married name even through there will have been no change on the Candian side or even provential side on the computers?
Will CIC automatically change it to the new name, as shown on the marriage certificate?
Or would we be better off waiting till all my PR papers are processed (under her maiden name), then file for an official petition for a name change?
Any answers would be very very helpful

Move to Canada and then change the name, I think it will be easier and faster.

what are my legal rights to change from my married name to my maiden name. in order for me to get ontario disability pension, i cannot be married. i was considering a legal separation, but was told to go back to my maiden name.
