One of my friends is living in Toronto and they´re processing their landed immigrant papers, however his parents have been going back to t´dad every 6 months in tandem with the VISA stipulations - but like they went back home this time, and the CAD embassy refused to extend their visa and cancelled the one they have now which is for until nov because they said that they were in Canada too much, my friend and his sister are alright though because they are on Student Visas. Now they´re stuck in t´dad and they can´t apply again for 6 months and they´re not sure what to do because the papers are nearlly done being processed but it´s still taking awhile.

Canada has every right to cancel the visa. they are not ´visiting´... they are living here like permanent residents. That is not the intention of a visitors visa.
they can live here as residents when their application is approved.
