Hi
I?ve had a look at the Canadian Embassy website but find it quite confusing. I´m a British citizen who wants to work in Canada for 6 months or so. I have a degree, which I think may help? I also have a friend which will help me set up etc. what I want to know is how long does a tourist visa last and is it easy to find work??

were you looking at www.cic.gc.ca
that is the site you need to look at for information regarding a temporary work permit.
