Hi guys,
I have no idea whats going on here =P
I sent my application out (applied for PR for my husband, he is from the US) and it was received August 10th 2005.
So far, I have not heard a thing back from immigration.
How long does it take for them to start the application process? Once its started is that when a person gets the AOR?
And how long does it take before you can check your status on e-client?

A decision should have been made on your file in Mississauga already. You can check the status of your application online at: http://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/ECAS.jsp you can use your receipt number. For name note that it only requires your LASTNAME.
According to CIC´s website they are now processing application received August 31st. If you can´t find out anything online call CIC to check the status of your application.

It was received by Mississauga or Buffalo on August 10th? If the AOR was from Buffalo, go ahead and put your feet up, you´ll hear something in 5-6 months.
