I don´t think you can conclude telling it is done. But it depends on where you are whether you are In-Canada and seeing your timeline people can tell something.

Guys, I´m not discouraging you. In my case (also for Tim), it changed on Aug 29, but we are yet to get PPR.

Hopefully, you guys will get your PPRs soon.

Hey Longwait,

I am an In-Canada applicant. I don´t know the reason, even I was wondering when I heard that it matters if it is In-Canada or US applicant, but the truth is, if you apply for Federal immigration from Canada, even if you have given your medical exam, it takes a long time to get passport request, it seems, according to what I have heard, it might take 6-12 months after medicals.

They gotta do, background check, security check, criminal check, unfortunately they take long for In-Canada applicants.

CAIPS is a report (free of cost for In-Canada applicants) that shows what checks are completed so far. There will be an indication of a date Bring Forward Date in the CAIPS, which means, we might, 99% percent get PPR around that date.

If you want to know more about CAIPS. Go to search in this forum and type CAIPS. or if you are not having patience to do that or if you don´t understand please let me know.

I am still learning abt CAIPS too..

I got my PPR last week. From my experience I can tell you that medical received means that they have received your medical. It really depends if they have done security check. In my case my IA arrived in Jan 2004 and I got interview done in June,2005. It took them 1 1/2 year for security check. I sent in my medical May 2005 and got PPR Sept 2005.

Keep your finger crossed.
