Hi,
I had a mild Pulmonary TB infection some 15 years ago, but it was all done. I got treated and I am fine since then. As I feel it is uncommon in women, are there any chances that my medical will be a problem?? I do not have the disease now at all. Response please. Thank you.

It´s up to CIC´s medical officer to evaluate whether your health pose a problem. Just wait and see. Also don´t forget to say prayers.

Hi,

It depends upon the intensity of the disease. Visa officer would decide wether you need more tests to confirm that TB is inactive or not.

As per my opinion, you would receive a request for some extra tests and after that; if required would be put under medical surveillance.

Additional tests are requested to make sure the current state of pertaining disease. As far as possible, visa officer tries to make a positive judgement.

Yes, if the test results are acceptable then as I mentioned before, they put you under certain medical category as per the intensity of the disease.
