Subject: Initial assesment
  Hi,

I got a letter from candian consultate stting that i should provide letter from recent employer stating my recent experience. This is the only thing they wrote. So i was wondering did i get a waiver for the interview because i was under the impression that consultate will notify you in initial assesment that whether you need any interview or not. Any thoughts or comments?

Hi, I think they are assessing your application and perhaps not convinced with the experience factor as that has weightage (points). In order to ensure that you get point, the letter/evidence becomes necessary. This does in no way indicate a waiver or otherwise. It oly indicates that your appls is being assessed and someone is looking at it seriously. That´s it. Keep cool, it will be alright.

In my own understanding, CIC is on the stage of evaluating your documents before they will proceed with the initial assessment procedure. Failure on your part to comply may lead to a decision whether they will accept or return your application.

Did u submit that letter at your initial submission?
Because there is no reason to ask about it again unless not submitted or it was badly formed and not including the information they deman.

Good luck for you and all members
