| Subject: What do you Think, I am fine?????????? |
I did my medicals around a month back and havent heard any thing , neither from my Medical Officer nor from CIC or Ottawa. What do you think, is it a good sign? Should i take a deep breath that every thing with my medicals went fine?....Please advice.

if you didn´t hear anything within the first 2 weeks, you should be okay. The Dr that did mine told me if something came up he would call me within two weeks (before they sent the medical to CIC). The blood work and x-rays are usually what takes the longest, but I wasn´t called either, so i assume all was fine.

It took almost 3 months for me to hear anything in spouse application.

Steve: wait for one more month and email the respective CIC and ask them whether they received the medicals and also enquire abt the status. They answered me.

well i did my meds in aug n my doc sent the meds in late aug nad she told me that if i didnt hear anything from them this meant that everything was fine and i havent heard anything either.i called ottawa medical but they told me that they are abt 2 weeks behind so my number cud be in the next couple of weeks so dont worry

at this stage, the only thing you can do is to wait. normally they would receive your medical results. the only thing you have to worry is that you pass the background check early.
