Subject: Please help me
  Dear there,

I am living in Gaza Strip under the occupation of Israel. I applied for PR in CHC in Paris/France in September2002.
Since that time they only ask me to fill in the new immigration forms in 2004.

Now after 3 years of application I am still waiting form Interview call.

Can anyone help me in these:

1- I could get 77 points with IELTS 7 band, so what are the chances for me to get an interview waiver.
2- If anyone applied in Paris, please give me some information about the interview there.
3- I am living in a closed area (Gaza Strip). So if I get an interview call and Couldn´t travel to Paris to attend the interview, what will happen.

Thanks Help me,

Maleabs

hello Maleabs,
I don´t understand why you applied to Paris and not to Tel-aviv office, as paris is out of jursiprudence and it is not faster than tel-aviv any way.
this situation creates a lot of complexities to your case, so you would not follow the usual delays in Paris or Tel-aviv, and no body can tell anything about the processing of your application.
The only thing I would do is to send a letter (or email) to CHC Paris asking for your status and see if this will "wake up the case" otherwise I would send a letter asking to transfer file to Tel-aviv.
Paris office will typically interview you in Paris and if you can´t make it then they will refuse your application, you would have get good chances for interview waiver if you have applied to Tel-aviv and your application is well prepared so that all documents are well presented in a conclusive way (it has nothing to do tiwh ILETS of your score) but in Paris chances are low as Paris is not familiar with your documents and hence they would call you for interview.
Good luck

Thanks Maher,

I have no choice. because I am living in a closed area, and travelling to tel aviv to attend an interview is impossible because I am Palestinian living in Gaza Strip. My case is a humanitarian case rather then a normal one.

I retain the services of an immigration counsultant and I am not allowed to contact the CHC office.

If Israel keep closing the borders between gaza and Egypt I have no chance to attend an interview in Paris at the specified date.
What to do?

Tel-aviv office interviews palestinian applicants in Gaza or West Bank and not in Tel-aviv as they are responsible for these areas, but Paris is out of jursiprudence so they simply won´t bother.
If you applied as a government sponsored refugee then it´s already been too long for this kind category, and second this has nothing to do with the IELTS and point system.

I called the CHC office in Tel Aviv. and they told me that They will only conduct an interview in Tel-Aviv, and they will not travel to Gaza to make the interview.
Because of that I keep my case in Paris.

But what about transfering my application to Cairo.

How long does this will delay my application processing, and will they start all over again to assess my application?

thats not true, I know people interviewed in west bank, the person in the office may have given you the wrong info or it was a misunderstanding, transferring to Cairo won´t give you any advantage over paris, but you can try Tel-aviv, if your application is well prepared, you have good chances for interview waiver.
good luck
