I am on study permit in Canada. It is valid till the end of next year. But I finished my Master´s degree last semester. (Graduating in December 05. I have an on campus job in my university, am I allowed to continue my job?
As I have completed my studies, I am worried that if I work on campus that might become illegal and create a hurdle to my PR application in Buffalo.
Plz help me

well in America you cant work on campus after you are done with your studies and i am sure its the same in Canada as well....You should consult International Student Office for a complete and relaible answer.

If I am correct, you are allowed to work till your graduation date. That´s what i did and I didn´t run into any trouble.

Dont worry.Comtinue your on campus job.You are allowed to work till your visa expires.Read the conditions on your visa.
ALSO no one is going to enquire if you are working on-campus or not.

I´m coming Toronto in Jan 2006 for a 2 years Diploma in community college, After completing my studies will I be eligible to work for 1 year in tornoto?

Yes you can. If your community college is outside of Toronto (like Mississauga or Oakville for eg) I think you can even work for 2. Please confirm this though.

For all those who graduate in Canada, they are allowed to work in Canada for one year (minimum) after graduation. Provided they get a job offer within 90 days after completion of graduation.

But only thing u have to worry abt is that they give u the job chk ur SIN Card when does it expire...till then uc an work
Most probably u will not get a job once u tell college people that u rdone....but if u get it...continue
