Subject: (in-canada applicant)Caips Received. Please advise
  hi, my caips arrived today.
it took 60 days.
i need some help with my caips notes.

Here are my info

in case status:

PSDEC:1 04-04-2004
BDEC: 18-11-2004
OREQ 0
SELDEC: 4 04-04-2004
MEDDEC:0
FINDEC: 0

but the one on page 5 indicates
BDEC 1 18-11-2004 (please note that the number 1)

in IMMIGRANT ASSESSMENT RECORD SUMMARY,

SECURITY DECISION: 10-11-2004 EDR

Does this mean my security check is still in process? what does EDR mean?

my medical indicates M01(means perfect) but i do not understand why meddec is 0. i also submitted fbi finger prints 2 weeks ago- the last document. why oreq is still 0? my e-client is still in process. can anyone put some comments on my caips?

thank you very much.

you seem very close, although your security checks are finished, there might be other checks pending like crminal and background check them out in your report.

Criminal, background and security checks are three different checks.

EDR is the initials of the immigration official who will get the results of your security check.

The CAIPS notes are not updated immediately after receiving additional documents for a case. Therefore the FBI clearance you sent has not been reflected on your notes.
