Subject: To Kenny: Reg Interview
  Hi Kenny,

I just read ur reply which u sent to Singh.
U mentioned that u have sent the addl docs and also did the medicals and paid ROLF. can u please lemme know if teh NY office asked for these docs and if so did they ineformed u that the interview has been waived becos as per my understanding they usually ask addl dcos and inform u to pay the ROLF and go ahead with the medicals if they are waiving the interview now.
Can u plss let us know.

Thanks
Steve

No Steve I was not asked by the NY office to either send the additional documents with the RPRF or get the medical done.

Looking at the posts of people who were in similar situations I found out the documents NY office requests after file transfer. I sent the additional documents as soon as I got the notice from Buffalo that my file had been transfered.

Hi Singh,

Good to finally know that someone has a very similar timeline as mine.

Did you get a letter from NY regarding your file or did you just got a letter from Buffalo regarding your file transfer? Have they asked for any additional documents from you?

Like I mentioned before I send the additional documents and RPRF so that they dont have to ask me to send it. Hopefully that will cut short the processing time.

I took a risk by getting my medicals done in March. As the medicals are valid for 1 year if my process is not complete by March 2006 then I may have to get them done again.

So I think its your decision to get the medical done now or wait for them to give you a date for the interview.

I am expecting to hear from New York by the end of this month but all I can do is wait and hope for the best.

Have you ordered your CAIPS notes as yet? If you have not then I suggest that you apply ASAP. Visit www.caipsnotes.com or www.caips.ca for more info.

Keep in touch!

Well I think that both of us will have to wait till we hear from New York.

I was told by may lawyer that I should expect to get a letter from NY (asking for additional documents or informing me of the interview date) within 3 months of getting the file transfer letter from Buffalo.

I live in Minnesota.

I know its very frustrating.

I was charged around $360 for the medical. I think it is cheaper in NY area. Make sure you call up all the DMP´s in your area to inquire about their charges including the X-ray and mailing charges.

If you did not get your CAIPS notes after getting the IA then I think you should order it right away. If you did get it then I think it will not be useful to get it now.
