Subject: How do we know when IA happens? |
How do we know when IA happens? I read people´s timelines and they list this. I mean, does one get a letter from CIC stating: "We have conducted our initial assessment . . ."??
Just curious
Merci.

(in reply to: How do we know when IA happens?) Yes, you will get a letter from CIC indicating that they have conducted their initial assessment. The letter will indicate whether your interview has been waived or you need to appear for an interview. Some docs might also be asked.

I did not get that kind of mail (in reply to: How do we know when IA happens?) hi, depends on the office, I applied in Vienna, and I did not get any mail regarding IA, or interview. I got mail requesting additional docs, medical , and passport request, nothing else.
