Subject: Under what rules i can bring my spouse from India |

Hello Guyzs!!
I am a landed immigrant in canada just 5 mths ago. Can any body tell me where i can get the information abut the documents, applications and rules to sponser my wife from Inida.Do i need to file the papers from India or i can do it from here also ? which way is faster and reliable. Pls guide me

ummm (in reply to: Under what rules i can bring my spouse from India) I could be wrong but i think you have to have landed status for almost 2 years before you can sponsor someone. Not sure if that also refers to Spousal sponsorship or not... could be wrong.... I really hope for your sake its not. Good Luck and I hope all works out.

Hi (in reply to: Under what rules i can bring my spouse from India) Hi, Just check the CIC website, print the forms and apply for spousal sponsorship. You will need only documents evidencing conjugal relationship, and others (funds..., address...etc etc) as needed. It is a straight forward process if everything is intact.
