(in reply to: I got a Work Permit, How My Family Can Join Me) I think you need to be working at least one year and receive a required income in order to sponsor your family.

hummm (in reply to: I got a Work Permit, How My Family Can Join Me) I´m not 100% sure about that... I think if you can justify your needs, and the fact that you make enough to sponsor them to come into the country then you should be fine. Remember there is no financial requirement for spousal sponsorship. However, there is a child involved so likely there will be requirements.
I would contact CIC, and ask about the whole working for a year thing. I think if you have have an official letter from your employer stating start date, end date, salary, etc.. you should be ok.
But I could be completely wrong, but I do know that Canada isn´t big on keeping families seperated.
cheers

(in reply to: I got a Work Permit, How My Family Can Join Me) You cannot sponsor your family unless you are a permanent resident.
