Can any one tell me how much time it will take to get interview date once buffalo sents IA with interview, i had been asked that i have to appear for interview at New York , my timeline :

IA : May 2004

waiting for interview date?
and can my cousine who is a born citizen of canada order my CAIPS notes for me , whts the procedure .. i would really appriciate if some1 explain the procedure in detail

It takes 5-7 months, remember time frame could be different as its depend on interview queue, In my case its took almost six months.
Caips Procedure:
(1) Write a consent letter to authorize the CIC to send your caips notes to a Canadien Citizen or a PR. In Canada, it is ABSOLUTELY forbitten to give any kind of personnal information to anybody without his written consent.

(2) Download form IMM5563B;

(3) 5. Send a) information request form; b) consent letter; c) 5$ to
Public Rights Administration

You\´re most welcome. Unfortunately, I can\´t give you my time line at this time as I don\´t have dates in my mind. My interview was been held in first week of October 2004 at NY Canadian Consulate General. Moreover, I will let you know about my exact time frame.
