Did anyone apply in Singapore for Canadian Immigration? Please post you timeline here. My e-client status is in process for the last 10 months..god knows how long will it take... :(

What is the next step after AOR? Will they contact me for medical and interview? Does the e-client status change at all when they contact for more info?

Hi Peter,

I applied from Singapore too.
My timeline:

Applied - Dec 2002
AOR - Dec 2002 (1 week after sending app)
Nothing since.....

seems like they haven´t even looked at my application as my caips notes did not have any points listed. Also I had checked with them beginning of this year and they told me they are still processing application from 2001.
Did you apply as a skilled worker? I don´t know what is next too and still trying to find out. Most of my friends wait till they get their letter for the medical but they applied in 2000/2001 and had already landed there.

do share if you have more info. I don´t know of anyone else in this forum that applied in Singapore.

yeah, singapore timeline sucks. Have been waiting since Oct 2003 without any news (other than AOR). Main contributing factor could be that Singapore is immigration hub for a number of other countries as well therefore creating a long queue for all applicants

Hi peter,

they don´t take calls. you would have to write to them for them to answer any of your questions. Even with that, you will not get a clear answer. My past correspondences with them have been very vague and very standardised.

what class of PR are you applying for?

btw, I´m trying to start a thread of posts for Singapore applicants so that we can all know what´s happening in Singapore CIC and where the queue is at. Do look for the topic "Singapore applicants (pls read)" and respond to it. I hope the post can also be a form of encouragment to all of us in the queue.
Thanks

Hi guys, I applied in mar 2004 and is also waiting. Guess its not as long as you all but still too long for me.

Anyway, I received a letter from my agent that they will process all application received in 2002 by this year and all application received in 2003 plus some application in 2004 by end of next year.

By the way, my agent is Northern Lights in Singapore. Anyone else using them?
