I took my medical and everything was fine according to the doctor. Yesterday i received a letter from Ottawa that i need to do some additional tests.They sent me one form and did check mark on the from that i need to do these additional tests.
The tests are
repeat urinalysis
If persistent hematuria(greater than 5 RBC´s/HPF) or proteinuria please obtain the following
Serum Creatinine.
24H urine collection for total protein and creatinine clearance.
Please let me know what they meant by taking additional tests.The doctor said that everythign is normal..Have anyone gone thru this situation.
Please help me.I am very worried.

Are you a female or a male? Which date did your medicals reach Ottawa.
I did medicals too in August

I did in August.I applied under quebec immigration.
I received the letter in Sep 30.

nothing to worry, just do what they asked you to do ASAP, there might be traces of blood in your urine been detected in the test you did when you did your medicals, this is not a reason of concern from a medical point of view you should give normal results next time, but the medical officers in ottawa seem to be very anxious about any cause of concer,

it might be related to a slightly high blood pressure when the doctor measured it...it happened to me..and had to take the serum creatinine test...everything went well afterwards..

i have also applied under the quebec immigration n sent our meds in aug thankfully it all just went through n now i know that buffalo has gotten my meds but v r still waitin for the security clearance which cud take some time as no one knows when it starts either after ur meds or at the IA so lets hope for the best but even after the meds it atkes some time. i know these other 2 ppl who r manitoba provincinal nominess they also have the same time line as n they r still waitin so hope for the best
