i was wondering if u can give me some information. i hav applied for pr in canada from uk and i have got a file number in august this year. any idea how long it takes for the whole process?

the whole process depends on the individual case. If your´s is normal and no interviews are required, it could take another year or so. Add another 6 months if interviews are required or if you need to re-submit any applications.
