Hi there,
I have been reading in this forum that FBI fingerprinting usually takes 6-8 weeks. Mine took only 2 weeks when I had it done last July/Aug. Somebody advised me (from this forum also) to put a deadline date in the letter and on the the envelope just below that FBI address portion. I´ve been told that FBI expedites request with deadline dates. The deadline I put was about 4 weeks from the request date. I got it after 2 weeks.
I just thought that the above info might help those who have not done the FBI yet. =)

This is true, always add the deadline, it really will be much faster. They even say this on their website for the instructions.

add a deadline and even email the addy it gives you if you have questions.. i got a super nice lady named brenda. mih@leo.gov

I missed that, I sent my cards to fbi on 30th Sep, but I did not put any deadline. I should have.
Is there any way to contact them to find out what is the status ? when can I receive them ?
