Hello. I would like to get a timeframe as to how long it will take me in securing a Canadian green card. I filed my skilled worker application late June this year and received a letter with the file #. I understand this letter only acknowledges receipt of my file and now I have to wait until they can start assessing it. I read someone´s reply above saying it takes 6-9 months to initiate assessment at Buffalo... so how long on the average does it take after this stage? Do I have a chance of securing a GC before the end of 2005? Thanks! Would appreciate your response!!
