Subject: Does this mean my interview is waived?
  Dear all,

I have just received my IA. It requests my medicals and fingerprints to be done, but makes no mention of my interview as either being required or waived. Does this mean that my interview has been waived, or is it possible that I will receive an interview request after I submit my medicals?

Timeline:
Applied Sept 04
AOR Jan 05
IA Oct 05

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies!

I was under the impression that I would´ve been notified of the need for an interview in my IA. So, when will I be notified about whether an interview is required or waived?

Again, thanks!

your interview has been waived no doubts.
only in very rare cases people got interviewed after this stage, either by a change in their circumstances or due to security issues.

Hi Nowhereman,

After IA the background and security checks are initiated. If during these checks they are not able to verify the information you have provided on the application forms then you may be called for an interview.

Congrats nowhereman! I applied two months after you so I should expect my IA in December...well hopefully. Yeay! I guess your interview has been waved. If it wasn´t then they would definitely mention that you require an interview and will be notified of the date. I am not too sure about this - but I dont think you get your meds request until after your interview. Again, Im not too sure but that´s just a thought.

Candice, yes it appears Buffalo is finally moving again! What a blessed day, the rays of hope finally shine on the huddling masses who have too long suffered under clouds of uncertainty and helplessness. Brothers and sisters, sing hymns of praise unto our Lord and Savior, CIC Buffalo, our salvation from the Cursed INS.

catocan, my timeline is in the opening post.
