hi all
i have a quick question. I just sent the sponsorship application to missisuaga ontario. i sent it only about a week ago, but i am sponsoring my husband under the spousal category. I was wondering what is the first letter i should get from cic, is the first letter, the letter saying that applicant is approved, or is it a letter stating they recieved package?
please help clear confusion up

Hi nira
the first letter you will receive should be the acknowledgement letter that they have recieved your package. They will give you a file number/client id for you to check the status online. They will send you another letter regarding your decision which should not take more than a month...
