Subject: 2 questions--Thanks
i am required to take an interview(Federal skills Immigration) the end of Nov. in LA. Yet I already received the medical exam form.

1) Shall I schedule the medical test before the interview or after the interview?

2) If the interview is successful, and the medical test is finished before the interview, when will the PR card be issued to me after the interview?
If the interview is successful, and the medical test is finished immdiatelly after the interview(say 2nd day of after the interview), when can I get the PR card?

Thank you.

I think you should go for the medicals after your interview.

Hi Czxxzc,

When you received the date for the interview in LA you must have also received instructions to go ahead with the medical exam. Now it is your choice if you want to get them done now or after the interview.

As the medical exam is costly some people wait till they clear the interview. On the other hand if you want to complete the process soon you should get it done as soon as possible as it can take approx 3 months for the medical results to reach immigration official in LA.

well my advice is just go ahead and do the medicals dont waste time ,3months for today or if you wait till november its gonna be 5months from today ;) so just do it .. its just money being spent on a good cause :)
