| Subject: Study Permit |

We have a permanent residence application in progress in the UK since August 04 but I have applied for and been confirmed on a one year college course in BC starting June 06. Can this study permit be applied for in the UK to start now or in June 06 (we would like to move over before Christmas) or do we need to go over on a 6 month vistors visa first.
Does any of this require exiting and re entering Canada customs, and if so can this just be the American border?
Lastly, is there any way of chasing the PR application as we would not need to worry about the Study permit if we had the PR accepted early next year.
