Hi all!
i am in the process of sponsoring my wife.
I applied the sponsorhip file in CPC-M and used to check the status of her application on eCAS. After CSQ, the file was transferred to London UK to process immigration. Ever since, the status of eCAS was never updated even though my wife recieved many letters from the london high commission such as requesting additional information, repeating the medical test
the only message displayed there is:
we started the processing of the application in Feb 11 2005
Does anybody know if they update this page fromt he london embassy, or if there is a way to contact them so that they update it?

Did you submit the medical test at the same time you sent in the application? The medical test should be good for 1 year, so it should not expire until february 2006.

she submitted the medical along with the sponsorship application which was in september 2004

This is ridiculous. What could be slowing the process down for you? You need to contact your Canadian Member of Parliament to look into this. Are you a Canadian citizen? It should not have taken this long at the London office unless there were some complications like your wife has lived in multiple countries or has children. E-Cas is TOTALLY unreliable, dont rely on it for anything.. If you are outside Canada, call your MPs office and have them do an inquiry into your case.

i don´t know man, though we submitted everything they needed in the application, they kept on requesting documents like proof of my residence in canada, proof of work (was a student at that time), proof of my wife´s work, then in May she became pregnant... then medicals again. She lived in 2 countries lately lebanon and United Arab emirates(dubai).
I am a permanent resident living in Montreal, and my wife is back in lebanon, they did not give her a visit visa to come and see me, so i am currently making the trips back and forth...
As per many advices i contacted the local MP a couple of weeks ago, i just got the reply that her file is in security check since September. I don´t know how much these will take, but i am hoping she will deliver here in Canada as i started a new job and I don´t know if my employer will give me a paid or unpaid leave. kinda stressing
