Subject: A few questions about migrating from UK |

The GF & I are planning to emigrate to Canada (in case you hadn´t guessed). We don´t live together, but the only reason for that is we can´t get a mortgage due to a combination of sky high house prices & low wages. I have 65 points on the CIC skilled worker assesment, assuming I get full marks on the first language (I don´t speak a word of French, English is my first language), but my GF may pull this up above 67 if I´m the principle & she´s the other one (It´s 2am so bear with me) as she has qualifications & an aunt in Ontario. So...
If we plan to live together from day 1 in Canada, does she count as my spouse/common-law partner?
I plan to join the Ontario Provincial Police once I meet the requirements, would this count in my favour?
The old favorite. What sort of timescale are we looking at?
I had other questions, but lack of sleep´s turned my memory off.
Thanks in advance for any help.
