from what I´ve read, having a job or job offer will not make an application go through the process faster than normal...sorry.

Hi there: Unfortunately it cannot guarantee a faster PR application process. It´s unfortunate but thats how CIC chooses to operate. Congratulations on your job though!

But, I would advise you to inform CIC about your job offer. Who knows, it may make a difference? By informing them about your job you won´t loose any thing.

Congrats on your job! I know some other CIC might speed up your application if you have an arranged employment, but not with Buffalo CIC.

If I were you, I would still send an update fax to Buffalo to wake them up a bit. :-) This will most likely result an officer look into your file again, which might change your BF´d, you never know.

sg1 is right..i´ve read many threads where a little wake up letter or fax will sometimes get one´s application jumpstarted. i just don´t think emails cut it, compared to snail mail or a fax. do it, what do you have to lose?

Job (in reply to: please help -charles, tim, sg1, candice)
There is a poster on the British expats forum who got her ppr just after her husband got a job offer. I would definately let them know by fax or email.

Additionally, Andrew Miller, the lawyer who often posts on British expats, says that sw with a job offer are given higher priority than sw with no job offer (who sit at the bottom of the pile).

Congratulations to you and please let us know how things come out--we all might be seeking jobs to speed up the process if it works for you.

Cheers.
